This has earned him a spot on the opening night roster, where he projects to start as the fourth-line centerman. October 2022 – Glass carried his blistering second half from last season into this year’s pre-season and looked like one of the Preds’ best players. Glass is definitely a sleeper breakout candidate heading into 2023/24. He has shown flashes of brilliant playmaking ability, especially when paired with players like Matt Duchene and Filip Forsberg. Averaging just under 14 minutes per game, Glass has scored eight goals and 24 points in 51 contests. After a few seasons of bouncing between the NHL and AH, Glass has been given a full-time role with the Predators this season. March 2023 – As Nashville has seemingly begun its transition into a rebuild, Glass is here to stay in the NHL. He has the skill to push 70 points in the right situation, but even if he can become a consistent 50-point+ forward, Nashville should be more than happy with his development. After proving he can be a full-time NHLer, it is now time for Glass to show how high his ceiling truly is. Due to his strong play, Glass also earned himself a spot on Canada’s 2023 World Championship roster. The numbers do not necessarily wow you, but considering the injuries to the forward group in Nashville, it is a solid step in the right direction. The 24-year-old center played 72 games, scoring 14 goals and 35 points. May 2023 – 2022-23 was a big season for Glass as he finally completed a full year in the NHL for the first time in his career.
